Registered Nurses (RGN / RMN)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Registered Nurses provide vital clinical care, medication administration, and patient advocacy. Emerald247 connects active NMC registered nurses with NHS frameworks and private clinical providers for flexible shifts and block bookings.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and clinical treatments accurately
• Assess patient vital signs (NEWS2), update care plans, and log clinical notes
• Manage acute medical wards, surgical units, or specialist nursing home wings
• Lead shift care teams including Healthcare Assistants and student nurses
• Adhere strictly to NMC Code of Conduct and infection control protocols

Pay & Rate Guidelines

Hourly rates from £25 to £45 per hour (PAYE) depending on Band and shift time (Nights/Weekends).
