Working with Doctors to provide a smooth and stress-free route to revalidation, Emerald247’s support throughout the five-year revalidation cycle is often likened to that of a concierge service. Emerald247’s appraisal team ensure that the process is supportive, and in accordance with both the needs of the individual Doctor and overarching GMC requirements.

If you’re due to revalidate before the end of September 2020, this will be deferred by one year. The GMC has made this decision to give responsible officers and Doctors more time to reschedule and complete appraisals. The GMC hopes this will support the health service to prioritise clinical care for patients during the Coronavirus pandemic.
